module: Convert symbol namespace to string literal

Clean up the existing export namespace code along the same lines of commit 33def8498fdd ("treewide: Convert macro and uses of __section(foo) to __section("foo")") and for the same reason, it is not desired for the namespace argument to be a macro expansion itself. media: platform: drop vb2_ops_wait_prepare/finish

Since commit 88785982a19d ("media: vb2: use lock if wait_prepare/finish are NULL") it is no longer needed to set the wait_prepare/finish vb2_ops callbacks as long as the lock field in vb2_queue is set. Since the vb2_ops_wait_prepare/finish callbacks already rely on that field, we can safely drop these callbacks. media: Switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()

After commit 0edb555a65d1 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove() return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for platform drivers. Convert all platform drivers below drivers/media to use .remove(), with the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As .remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer. Replace comma between expressions with semicolons. Using a ',' in place of a ';' can have unintended side effects. There is a confusing pattern in the kernel to use a variable named 'timeout' to store the result of wait_for_completion_interruptible_timeout() causing patterns like: timeout = wait_for_completion_interruptible_timeout(...) if (!timeout) return -ETIMEDOUT; with all kinds of permutations. tracing/treewide: Remove second parameter of __assign_str()

With the rework of how the __string() handles dynamic strings where it saves off the source string in field in the helper structure[1], the assignment of that value to the trace event field is stored in the helper value and does not need to be passed in again. This means that with: __string(field, mystring) Which use to be assigned with __assign_str(field, mystring), no longer needs the second parameter and it is unused. With this, __assign_str() will now only get a single parameter. There's over 700 users of __assign_str() and because coccinelle does not handle the TRACE_EVENT() macro I ended up using the following sed script: git grep -l __assign_str | while read a ; do sed -e 's/$__assign_str([^,]*[^ ,]$ *,[^;]*/\1)/' $a > /tmp/test-file; mv /tmp/test-file $a; done I then searched for __assign_str() that did not end with ';' as those were multi line assignments that the sed script above would fail to catch. Note, the same updates will need to be done for: __assign_str_len() __assign_rel_str() __assign_rel_str_len() I tested this with both an allmodconfig and an allyesconfig (build only for both).
