Blamed commit forgot MSG_PEEK case, allowing a crash [1] as found
by syzbot.

Rework vlan_get_protocol_dgram() to not touch skb at all,
so that it can be used from many cpus on the same skb.

Add a const qualifier to skb argument.

<title>sock: support SO_PRIORITY cmsg</title>

The Linux socket API currently allows setting SO_PRIORITY at the
socket level, applying a uniform priority to all packets sent through
that socket. The exception to this is IP_TOS, when the priority value
is calculated during the handling of
ancillary data, as implemented in commit f02db315b8d8 ("ipv4: IP_TOS
and IP_TTL can be specified as ancillary data").
However, this is a computed
value, and there is currently no mechanism to set a custom priority
via control messages prior to this patch.

According to this patch, if SO_PRIORITY is specified as ancillary data,
the packet is sent with the priority value set through
sockc-&gt;priority, overriding the socket-level values
set via the traditional setsockopt() method. This is analogous to
the existing support for SO_MARK, as implemented in
commit c6af0c227a22 ("ip: support SO_MARK cmsg").

If both cmsg SO_PRIORITY and IP_TOS are passed, then the one that
takes precedence is the last one in the cmsg list.

This patch has the side effect that raw_send_hdrinc now interprets cmsg
IP_TOS.

After sock_init_data() the allocated sk object is attached to the provided
sock object. On error, packet_create() frees the sk object leaving the
dangling pointer in the sock object on return. Some other code may try
to use this pointer and cause use-after-free.

PACKET socket can retain its fanout membership through link down and up
and leave a fanout while closed regardless of link state.
However, socket was forbidden from joining a fanout while it was not
RUNNING.

This patch allows PACKET socket to join fanout while not RUNNING.

Socket can be RUNNING if it has a specified protocol. Either directly
from packet_create (being implicitly bound to any interface) or following
a successful bind. Socket RUNNING state is switched off if it is bound to
an interface that went down.

Instead of the test for RUNNING, this patch adds a test that socket can
become RUNNING.

The last type of sockets which supports SOF_TIMESTAMPING_OPT_ID is RAW
sockets. To add new option this patch converts all callers (direct and
indirect) of _sock_tx_timestamp to provide sockcm_cookie instead of
tsflags. And while here fix __sock_tx_timestamp to receive tsflags as
__u32 instead of __u16.

For device memory TCP, we expect the skb headers to be available in host
memory for access, and we expect the skb frags to be in device memory
and unaccessible to the host. We expect there to be no mixing and
matching of device memory frags (unaccessible) with host memory frags
(accessible) in the same skb.

Add a skb-&gt;devmem flag which indicates whether the frags in this skb
are device memory frags or not.

__skb_fill_netmem_desc() now checks frags added to skbs for net_iov,
and marks the skb as skb-&gt;devmem accordingly.

Add checks through the network stack to avoid accessing the frags of
devmem skbs and avoid coalescing devmem skbs with non devmem skbs.

<title>af_packet: Handle outgoing VLAN packets without hardware offloading</title>

The issue initially stems from libpcap. The ethertype will be overwritten
as the VLAN TPID if the network interface lacks hardware VLAN offloading.
In the outbound packet path, if hardware VLAN offloading is unavailable,
the VLAN tag is inserted into the payload but then cleared from the sk_buff
struct. Consequently, this can lead to a false negative when checking for
the presence of a VLAN tag, causing the packet sniffing outcome to lack
VLAN tag information (i.e., TCI-TPID). As a result, the packet capturing
tool may be unable to parse packets as expected.

The TCI-TPID is missing because the prb_fill_vlan_info() function does not
modify the tp_vlan_tci/tp_vlan_tpid values, as the information is in the
payload and not in the sk_buff struct. The skb_vlan_tag_present() function
only checks vlan_all in the sk_buff struct. In cooked mode, the L2 header
is stripped, preventing the packet capturing tool from determining the
correct TCI-TPID value. Additionally, the protocol in SLL is incorrect,
which means the packet capturing tool cannot parse the L3 header correctly.
