mempool: hook up to memory allocation profiling
This adds hooks to mempools for correctly annotating mempool-backed allocations at the correct source line, so they show up correctly in /sys/kernel/debug/allocations. Various inline functions are converted to wrappers so that we can invoke alloc_hooks() in fewer places.
