Since commit cafa0010cd51fb71 ("Raise the minimum required gcc version
to 4.6"), the kernel can no longer be compiled using gcc-3.
Hence this condition is never true, and the check can thus be removed.

The GNU assembler has implemented the "unified syntax" parsing since
2005. This "unified" syntax is required when the kernel is built in
Thumb2 mode. However the "unified" syntax is a mixed bag of features,
including not requiring a `#' prefix with immediate operands. This leads
to situations where some code builds just fine in Thumb2 mode and fails
to build in ARM mode if that prefix is missing. This behavior
discrepancy makes build tests less valuable, forcing both ARM and Thumb2
builds for proper coverage.
Let's "fix" this issue by always using the "unified" syntax for both ARM
and Thumb2 mode. Given that the documented minimum binutils version that
properly builds the kernel is version 2.20 released in 2010, we can
assume that any toolchain capable of building the latest kernel is also
"unified syntax" capable.
Whith this, a bunch of macros used to mask some differences between both
syntaxes can be removed, with the side effect of making LTO easier.

BSYM() was invented to allow us to work around a problem with the
assembler, where local symbols resolved by the assembler for the 'adr'
instruction did not take account of their ISA.
Since we don't want BSYM() used elsewhere, replace BSYM() with a new
macro 'badr', which is like the 'adr' pseudo-op, but with the BSYM()
mechanics integrated into it. This ensures that the BSYM()-ification
is only used in conjunction with 'adr'.

This patch makes it possible to enter zImage in Thumb mode for ARMv7-M
(Cortex-M) CPUs that do not support ARM mode. The kernel entry is also
made in Thumb mode.

Patching UP/SMP alternatives inside inline assembly blocks is useful
outside of the spinlock implementation, where it is used for sev and wfe.
This patch lifts the macro into processor.h and gives it a scarier name
to (a) avoid conflicts in the global namespace and (b) to try and deter
its usage unless you "know what you're doing". The W macro for generating
wide instructions when targetting Thumb-2 is also made available under
the name WASM, to reduce the potential for conflicts with other headers.
