2024-03-25irqchip: Remove redundant irq_chip::name initializationKeguang Zhang
Since commit 021a8ca2ba23 ("genirq/generic-chip: Fix the irq_chip name for /proc/interrupts"), the chip name of all chip types are set to the same name by irq_init_generic_chip() now. So the initialization to the same irq_chip name are no longer needed. Drop them. 2023-08-21irqchip: Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. 2015-09-16genirq: Remove irq argument from irq flow handlersThomas Gleixner
Most interrupt flow handlers do not use the irq argument. Those few which use it can retrieve the irq number from the irq descriptor. Remove the argument. Search and replace was done with coccinelle and some extra helper scripts around it. Thanks to Julia for her help! The irq argument of most interrupt flow handlers is unused or merily used instead of a local variable. The handlers which need the irq argument can retrieve the irq number from the irq descriptor. The IRQCHIP_DECLARE macro moved to to 'include/linux/irqchip.h', so the local irqchip.h became an empty shell, which solely includes include/linux/irqchip.h Include the global header in all irqchip drivers instead of the local header, so we can remove it.
