2024-09-23mfd: rk8xx: Add support for rk806 on i2c busDetlev Casanova
The ArmSoM Sige 5 board connects the rk806 PMIC on an i2c bus. Signed-off-by: Detlev Casanova <detlev.casanova@collabora.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20240802134736.283851-1-detlev.casanova@collabora.com Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee@kernel.org>
2024-05-03mfd: rk8xx: Add RK816 supportAlex Bee
This integrates RK816 support in the this existing rk8xx mfd driver. This version has unaligned interrupt registers, which requires to define a separate get_irq_reg callback for the regmap. Apart from that the integration is straightforward and the existing structures can be used as is. The initialization sequence has been taken from vendor kernel. 2023-11-01mfd: rk8xx: Convert to use maple tree register cacheMark Brown
The maple tree register cache is based on a much more modern data structure than the rbtree cache and makes optimisation choices which are probably more appropriate for modern systems than those made by the rbtree cache. 2023-06-15mfd: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König
After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. 2023-05-15mfd: rk8xx-i2c: Use device_get_match_dataSebastian Reichel
Simplify the device identification logic by supplying the relevant information via of_match_data. This also removes the dev_info() printing the chip version, since that's supplied by the match data now. Due to lack of hardware this change is compile-tested only.
