2022-06-10treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - gpl-2.0_319.RULEThomas Gleixner

2021-11-05mfd: tps65912: Make tps65912_device_exit() return voidUwe Kleine-König
Up to now tps65912_device_exit() returns zero unconditionally. Make it return void instead which makes it easier to see in the callers that there is no error to handle. Also the return value of i2c and spi remove callbacks is ignored anyway. 2020-08-13mfd: Replace HTTP links with HTTPS onesAlexander A. Klimov
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2017-02-13mfd: tps65912: Export OF device ID table as module aliasesJavier Martinez Canillas
The I2C core always reports a MODALIAS of the form i2c:<foo> even if the device was registered via OF, this means that exporting the OF device ID table device aliases in the module is not needed. But in order to change how the core reports modaliases to user-space, it's better to export it. Before this patch: $ modinfo drivers/mfd/tps65912-i2c.ko | grep alias alias: i2c:tps65912 After this patch: $ modinfo drivers/mfd/tps65912-i2c.ko | grep alias alias: of:N*T*Cti,tps65912C* alias: of:N*T*Cti,tps65912 alias: i2c:tps65912 Signed-off-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@osg.samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2016-02-11mfd: tps65912: Add driver for the TPS65912 PMICAndrew F. Davis
This patch adds support for TPS65912 PMIC MFD core. It provides communication through the I2C and SPI interfaces. It contains the following components: - Regulators - GPIO controller Signed-off-by: Andrew F. Davis <afd@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2016-02-11mfd: tps65912: Remove old driver in preparation for new driverAndrew F. Davis
The old tps65912 driver is being replaced, delete old driver. Signed-off-by: Andrew F. Davis <afd@ti.com> Acked-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2015-08-11mfd: Drop owner assignment from i2c_driversKrzysztof Kozlowski
i2c_driver does not need to set an owner because i2c_register_driver() will set it. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <k.kozlowski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2013-06-13mfd: tps65912: Convert to managed resources for allocating memoryLee Jones
Saves on code and simplifies the driver, as these resources are now tracked and freed automatically when the driver is realised. Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
2011-07-31mfd: Fix off-by-one value range checking for tps65912_i2c_writeAxel Lin
If bytes == (TPS6591X_MAX_REGISTER + 1), we have a buffer overflow when doing memcpy(&msg[1], src, bytes). Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
