When mirror VI is enabled, allocate the mirror Rxqs and setup the mirror VI RSS table. 2020-02-24chelsio: Replace zero-length array with flexible-array memberGustavo A. R. Silva
The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2], introduced in C99: struct foo { int stuff; struct boo array[]; }; By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being inadvertently introduced[3] to the codebase from now on. Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by this change: "Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1] This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle. 2019-12-17cxgb4/chtls: fix ULD connection failures due to wrong TID baseShahjada Abul Husain
Currently, the hardware TID index is assumed to start from index 0. However, with the following changeset, commit c21939998802 ("cxgb4: add support for high priority filters") hardware TID index can start after the high priority region, which has introduced a regression resulting in connection failures for ULDs. So, fix all related code to properly recalculate the TID start index based on whether high priority filters are enabled or not. When calling debugfs functions, there is no need to ever check the return value. The function can work or not, but the code logic should never do something different based on this. If a debugfs call fails, it will properly warn in the syslog, there's no need for all individual drivers to also print a message, so that is one more reason to not care about checking the return values. The kmalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kmalloc_array(). This patch replaces cases of: kmalloc(a * b, gfp) with: kmalloc_array(a * b, gfp) as well as handling cases of: kmalloc(a * b * c, gfp) with: kmalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp) as it's slightly less ugly than: kmalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp) This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like: kmalloc(4 * 1024, gfp) though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion. Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were dropped, since they're redundant. The tools/ directory was manually excluded, since it has its own implementation of kmalloc(). HMA(Host Memory Access) maps a part of host memory for T6-SO memfree cards. This commit does the following: - Query FW to check if we have HMA support. If yes, the params will return HMA size configured in FW. We will dma map memory based on this size. - Also contains changes to get HMA memory information via debugfs.
