2024-03-04btrfs: add forward declarations and headers, part 1David Sterba
Do a cleanup in the short headers: - add forward declarations for types referenced by pointers - add includes when types need them This fixes potential compilation problems if the headers are reordered or the missing includes are not provided indirectly. 2023-06-19btrfs: print-tree: pass const extent buffer pointerQu Wenruo
Since print-tree infrastructure only prints the content of a tree block, we can make them to accept const extent buffer pointer. This removes a forced type convert in extent-tree, where we convert a const extent buffer pointer to regular one, just to avoid compiler warning. 2021-01-07btrfs: print the actual offset in btrfs_root_nameJosef Bacik
We're supposed to print the root_key.offset in btrfs_root_name in the case of a reloc root, not the objectid. Fix this helper to take the key so we have access to the offset when we need it. 2020-10-07btrfs: pretty print leaked root nameJosef Bacik
I'm a actual human being so am incapable of converting u64 to s64 in my head, so add a helper to get the pretty name of a root objectid and use that helper to spit out the name for any special roots for leaked roots, so I don't have to scratch my head and figure out which root I messed up the refs for. 2018-04-20btrfs: print-tree: debugging output enhancementQu Wenruo
This patch enhances the following things: - tree block header * add generation and owner output for node and leaf - node pointer generation output - allow btrfs_print_tree() to not follow nodes * just like btrfs-progs Please note that, although function btrfs_print_tree() is not called by anyone right now, it's still a pretty useful function to debug kernel. So that function is still kept for later use. Signed-off-by: Qu Wenruo <wqu@suse.com> Reviewed-by: Lu Fengqi <lufq.fnst@cn.fujitsu.com> Signed-off-by: David Sterba <dsterba@suse.com>
2018-04-12btrfs: replace GPL boilerplate by SPDX -- headersDavid Sterba
Remove GPL boilerplate text (long, short, one-line) and keep the rest, ie. personal, company or original source copyright statements. Add the SPDX header. Unify the include protection macros to match the file names. Signed-off-by: David Sterba <dsterba@suse.com>

2016-12-06btrfs: take an fs_info directly when the root is not used otherwiseJeff Mahoney
There are loads of functions in btrfs that accept a root parameter but only use it to obtain an fs_info pointer. Let's convert those to just accept an fs_info pointer directly. Signed-off-by: Jeff Mahoney <jeffm@suse.com> Signed-off-by: David Sterba <dsterba@suse.com>
2013-05-06btrfs: make static code static & remove dead codeEric Sandeen
Big patch, but all it does is add statics to functions which are in fact static, then remove the associated dead-code fallout. removed functions: btrfs_iref_to_path() __btrfs_lookup_delayed_deletion_item() __btrfs_search_delayed_insertion_item() __btrfs_search_delayed_deletion_item() find_eb_for_page() btrfs_find_block_group() range_straddles_pages() extent_range_uptodate() btrfs_file_extent_length() btrfs_scrub_cancel_devid() btrfs_start_transaction_lflush() btrfs_print_tree() is left because it is used for debugging. btrfs_start_transaction_lflush() and btrfs_reada_detach() are left for symmetry. ulist.c functions are left, another patch will take care of those.
