Use the new KMEM_CACHE() macro instead of direct kmem_cache_create
to simplify the creation of SLAB caches.

When the MPTCP PM detects that a subflow is stale, all the packet
scheduler must re-inject all the mptcp-level unacked data. To avoid
acquiring unneeded locks, it first try to check if any unacked data
is present at all in the RTX queue, but such check is currently
broken, as it uses TCP-specific helper on an MPTCP socket.
Funnily enough fuzzers and static checkers are happy, as the accessed
memory still belongs to the mptcp_sock struct, and even from a
functional perspective the recovery completed successfully, as
the short-cut test always failed.
A recent unrelated TCP change - commit d5fed5addb2b ("tcp: reorganize
tcp_sock fast path variables") - exposed the issue, as the tcp field
reorganization makes the mptcp code always skip the re-inection.
Fix the issue dropping the bogus call: we are on a slow path, the early
optimization proved once again to be evil.

syzbot reported a lockdep splat [1].
Blamed commit hinted about the possible lockdep
violation, and code used unix_state_lock_nested()
in an attempt to silence lockdep.
It is not sufficient, because unix_state_lock_nested()
is already used from unix_state_double_lock().
We need to use a separate subclass.
This patch adds a distinct enumeration to make things
more explicit.
Also use swap() in unix_state_double_lock() as a clean up.

Originally, the code related to garbage collection was all in garbage.c.
Commit f4e65870e5ce ("net: split out functions related to registering
inflight socket files") moved some functions to scm.c for io_uring and
added CONFIG_UNIX_SCM just in case AF_UNIX was built as module.
However, since commit 97154bcf4d1b ("af_unix: Kconfig: make CONFIG_UNIX
bool"), AF_UNIX is no longer built separately. Also, io_uring does not
support SCM_RIGHTS now.
Let's move the functions back to garbage.c

Since commit 705318a99a13 ("io_uring/af_unix: disable sending
io_uring over sockets"), io_uring's unix socket cannot be passed
via SCM_RIGHTS, so it does not contribute to cyclic reference and
no longer be candidate for garbage collection.
Also, commit 6e5e6d274956 ("io_uring: drop any code related to
SCM_RIGHTS") cleaned up SCM_RIGHTS code in io_uring.
Let's do it in AF_UNIX as well by reverting commit 0091bfc81741
("io_uring/af_unix: defer registered files gc to io_uring release")
and commit 10369080454d ("net: reclaim skb->scm_io_uring bit").

Module reference is bumped for each user, this should not ever happen.
But BUG_ON check should use rcu_access_pointer() instead.
If this ever happens, do WARN_ON_ONCE() instead of BUG_ON() and
consolidate pointer check under the rcu read side lock section.

The patch "netfilter: ipset: fix race condition between swap/destroy
and kernel side add/del/test", commit 28628fa9 fixes a race condition.
But the synchronize_rcu() added to the swap function unnecessarily slows
it down: it can safely be moved to destroy and use call_rcu() instead.
Eric Dumazet pointed out that simply calling the destroy functions as
rcu callback does not work: sets with timeout use garbage collectors
which need cancelling at destroy which can wait. Therefore the destroy
functions are split into two: cancelling garbage collectors safely at
executing the command received by netlink and moving the remaining
part only into the rcu callback.

The annotation says in sctp_new(): "If it is a shutdown ack OOTB packet, we
expect a return shutdown complete, otherwise an ABORT Sec 8.4 (5) and (8)".
However, it does not check SCTP_CID_SHUTDOWN_ACK before setting vtag[REPLY]
in the conntrack entry(ct).
Because of that, if the ct in Router disappears for some reason in [1]
with the packet sequence like below:

when processing HB ACK packet in Router it calls sctp_new() to initialize
the new ct with vtag[REPLY] set to HB_ACK packet's vtag.
Later when sending DATA from Client, all the SACKs from Server will get
dropped in Router, as the SACK packet's vtag does not match vtag[REPLY]
in the ct. The worst thing is the vtag in this ct will never get fixed
by the upcoming packets from Server.
This patch fixes it by checking SCTP_CID_SHUTDOWN_ACK before setting
vtag[REPLY] in the ct in sctp_new() as the annotation says. With this
fix, it will leave vtag[REPLY] in ct to 0 in the case above, and the
next HB REQ/ACK from Server is able to fix the vtag as its value is 0
in nf_conntrack_sctp_packet().

result in incorrect window scale negotiation. This commit merged the SYN
re-initialization and simultaneous open or SYN retransmits cases. Merging
this block added the logic in tcp_init_sender() that performed window scale
negotiation to the retransmitted syn case. Previously. this would only
result in updating the sender's scale and flags. After the merge the
additional logic results in improperly clearing the scale in ORIGINAL
direction before any packets in the REPLY direction are received. This
results in packets incorrectly being marked invalid for being
out-of-window.
This can be reproduced with the following trace:
Packet Sequence:

In order to fix the issue, only evaluate window negotiation for packets
in the REPLY direction. This was tested with simultaneous open, fast
open, and the above reproduction.

Add linkmode bitmap members to struct ethtool_keee, but keep the legacy
u32 bitmaps for compatibility with existing drivers.
Use linkmode "supported" not being empty as indicator that a user wants
to use the linkmode bitmap members instead of the legacy bitmaps.

This patch changes the following in struct ethtool_keee
- remove member cmd, it's not needed on kernel side
- remove reserved fields
- switch the semantically boolean members to type bool
We don't have to change any user of the boolean members due to the
implicit casting from/to bool. A small change is needed where a
pointer to bool members is used, in addition remove few now unneeded
double negations.

In order to later extend struct ethtool_keee, we have to decouple it
from the userspace format represented by struct ethtool_eee.
Therefore switch back to struct ethtool_eee, representing the userspace
format, and add conversion between ethtool_eee and ethtool_keee.
Struct ethtool_keee will be changed in follow-up patches, therefore
don't do a *keee = *eee here.
Member cmd isn't copied, because it's not used, and we'll remove
it in the next patch of this series. In addition omit setting cmd
to ETHTOOL_GEEE in the ioctl response, userspace ethtool isn't
interested in it.

In order to pass EEE link modes beyond bit 32 to userspace we have to
complement the 32 bit bitmaps in struct ethtool_eee with linkmode
bitmaps. Therefore, similar to ethtool_link_settings and
ethtool_link_ksettings, add a struct ethtool_keee. In a first step
it's an identical copy of ethtool_eee. This patch simply does a
s/ethtool_eee/ethtool_keee/g for all users.
No functional change intended.

When port function state change is requested, and when the driver
does not support it, it refers to the hw address attribute instead
of state attribute. Seems like a copy paste error.

The original idea of the delay_time check was to not apply multicast
snooping too early when an MLD querier appears. And to instead wait at
least for MLD reports to arrive before switching from flooding to group
based, MLD snooped forwarding, to avoid temporary packet loss.
However in a batman-adv mesh network it was noticed that after 248 days of
uptime 32bit MIPS based devices would start to signal that they had
stopped applying multicast snooping due to missing queriers - even though
they were the elected querier and still sending MLD queries themselves.
While time_is_before_jiffies() generally is safe against jiffies
wrap-arounds, like the code comments in jiffies.h explain, it won't
be able to track a difference larger than ULONG_MAX/2. With a 32bit
large jiffies and one jiffies tick every 10ms (CONFIG_HZ=100) on these MIPS
devices running OpenWrt this would result in a difference larger than
ULONG_MAX/2 after 248 (= 2^32/100/60/60/24/2) days and
time_is_before_jiffies() would then start to return false instead of
true. Leading to multicast snooping not being applied to multicast
packets anymore.
Fix this issue by using a proper timer_list object which won't have this
ULONG_MAX/2 difference limitation.

ida_alloc() and ida_free() should be preferred to the deprecated
ida_simple_get() and ida_simple_remove().
Note that the upper limit of ida_simple_get() is exclusive, but the one of
ida_alloc_range() is inclusive. So a -1 has been added when needed.

syzbot reported an interesting trace [1] caused by a stale sk->sk_wq
pointer in a closed llc socket.
In commit ff7b11aa481f ("net: socket: set sock->sk to NULL after
calling proto_ops::release()") Eric Biggers hinted that some protocols
are missing a sock_orphan(), we need to perform a full audit.
In net-next, I plan to clear sock->sk from sock_orphan() and
amend Eric patch to add a warning.

On a parisc64 kernel I sometimes notice this kernel warning:
Kernel unaligned access to 0x40ff8814 at ndisc_send_skb+0xc0/0x4d8
The address 0x40ff8814 points to the in6addr_linklocal_allrouters
variable and the warning simply means that some ipv6 function tries to
read a 64-bit word directly from the not-64-bit aligned
in6addr_linklocal_allrouters variable.
Unaligned accesses are non-critical as the architecture or exception
handlers usually will fix it up at runtime. Nevertheless it may trigger
a performance penality for some architectures. For details read the
"unaligned-memory-access" kernel documentation.
The patch below ensures that the ipv6 loopback and router addresses will
always be naturally aligned. This prevents the unaligned accesses for
all architectures.

For now, the packet with an old ack is not accepted if we are in
FIN_WAIT1 state, which can cause retransmission. Taking the following
case as an example:

In the case above, simultaneous close is happening, and the FIN and ACK
packet that send from the server is out of order. Then, the FIN will be
dropped by the client, as it has an old ack. Then, the server has to
retransmit the FIN, which can cause delay if the server has set the
SO_LINGER on the socket.
Old ack is accepted in the ESTABLISHED and TIME_WAIT state, and I think
it should be better to keep the same logic.
In this commit, we accept old ack in FIN_WAIT1/FIN_WAIT2/CLOSING/LAST_ACK
states. Maybe we should limit it to FIN_WAIT1 for now?

To build a kernel that only supports ebtables-nft, the builtin tables
need to be disabled, i.e.:

Add hidden IP(6)_NF_IPTABLES_LEGACY symbol.
When any of the "old" builtin tables are enabled the "old" iptables
interface will be supported.
To disable the old set/getsockopt interface the existing options
for the builtin tables need to be turned off:
CONFIG_IP_NF_IPTABLES=m
CONFIG_IP_NF_FILTER is not set
CONFIG_IP_NF_NAT is not set
CONFIG_IP_NF_MANGLE is not set
CONFIG_IP_NF_RAW is not set
CONFIG_IP_NF_SECURITY is not set
Same for CONFIG_IP6_NF_ variants.
This allows to build a kernel that only supports ip(6)tables-nft
(iptables-over-nftables api).
In the future the _LEGACY symbol will become visible and the select
statements will be turned into 'depends on', but for now be on safe side
so "make oldconfig" won't break things.

Allows to build kernel that supports the arptables mangle target
via nftables' compat infra but without the arptables get/setsockopt
interface or the old arptables filter interpreter.
IOW, setting IP_NF_ARPFILTER=n will break arptables-legacy, but
arptables-nft will continue to work as long as nftables compat
support is enabled.

No need to refetch the flag from the netlink attribute, pass the
existing flags variable which already provide validated flags.

Allow a new process to take ownership of a previously owned table,
useful mostly for firewall management services restarting or suspending
when idle.
By extending __NFT_TABLE_F_UPDATE, the on/off/on check in
nf_tables_updtable() also covers table adoption, although it is actually
not needed: Table adoption is irreversible because nf_tables_updtable()
rejects attempts to drop NFT_TABLE_F_OWNER so table->nlpid setting can
happen just once within the transaction.
If the transaction commences, table's nlpid and flags fields are already
set and no further action is required. If it aborts, the table returns
to orphaned state.

This companion flag to NFT_TABLE_F_OWNER requests the kernel to keep the
table around after the process has exited. It marks such table as
orphaned (by dropping OWNER flag but keeping PERSIST flag in place),
which opens it for other processes to manipulate. For the sake of
simplicity, PERSIST flag may not be altered though.

We had to add another synchronize_rcu() in recent fix.
Bite the bullet and add an rcu_head to netdev_name_node,
free from RCU.
Note that name_node does not hold any reference on dev
to which it points, but there must be a synchronize_rcu()
on device removal path, so we should be fine.

As of now, the field TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_FLAGS is being validated by manually
checking its value, using the function taprio_flags_valid().
With this patch, the field will be validated through the netlink policy
NLA_POLICY_MASK, where the mask is defined by TAPRIO_SUPPORTED_FLAGS.
The mutual exclusivity of the two flags TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_FLAG_FULL_OFFLOAD
and TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_FLAG_TXTIME_ASSIST is still checked manually.

TCP rx zerocopy intent is to map pages initially allocated
from NIC drivers, not pages owned by a fs.
This patch adds to can_map_frag() these additional checks:
- Page must not be a compound one.
- page->mapping must be NULL.
This fixes the panic reported by ZhangPeng.
syzbot was able to loopback packets built with sendfile(),
mapping pages owned by an ext4 file to TCP rx zerocopy.

rx_data_reassembly skb is stored during NCI data exchange for processing
fragmented packets. It is dropped only when the last fragment is processed
or when an NTF packet with NCI_OP_RF_DEACTIVATE_NTF opcode is received.
However, the NCI device may be deallocated before that which leads to skb
leak.
As by design the rx_data_reassembly skb is bound to the NCI device and
nothing prevents the device to be freed before the skb is processed in
some way and cleaned, free it on the NCI device cleanup.
Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller.

Syzkaller reported [1] hitting a warning after failing to allocate
resources for skb in hsr_init_skb(). Since a WARN_ONCE() call will
not help much in this case, it might be prudent to switch to
netdev_warn_once(). At the very least it will suppress syzkaller
reports such as [1].
Just in case, use netdev_warn_once() in send_prp_supervision_frame()
for similar reasons.

The linux/export.h include was introduced in commit 9bcb94c8617e
("batman-adv: Introduce missing headers for genetlink restructure") to have
access to THIS_MODULE. But with commit 5b20755b7780 ("init: move
THIS_MODULE from <linux/export.h> to <linux/init.h>"), it was moved and the
include for export.h is no longer needed.
