From b974696da1cfc5aa0c29ed97dc8f6c239899e64b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Uwe Kleine-König Date: Wed, 23 Aug 2017 09:03:04 +0200 Subject: mtd: nandsim: remove debugfs entries in error path MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The debugfs entries must be removed before an error is returned in the probe function. Otherwise another try to load the module fails and when the debugfs files are accessed without the module loaded, the kernel still tries to call a function in that module. We need to relax the check and accept the -ERANGE return code. Note that previous versions of the ONFI spec had a lower tADL_min (100 or 200 ns). It's not clear why this timing constraint got increased but it seems most NANDs are fine with values lower than 400ns, so we should be safe.
