From f38ff2ee7727994685494bcc4d7c274b35b5418a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Anjali Singhai Jain Date: Wed, 24 Aug 2016 17:51:53 -0700 Subject: i40e: Change some init flow for the client This change makes a common flow for Client instance open during init and reset path. The Client subtask can handle both the cases instead of making a separate notify_client_of_open call. Also it may fix a bug during reset where the service task was leaking some memory and causing issues. But, for future DCB LLDPDUs, the driver was checking if the interface was DCB capable instead of enabled. This was causing a kernel panic when LLDP was enabled/disabled on the link partner switch. This patch corrects the situation by having the LLDP event handler check the correct flag in the pf structure. It also cleans up the setting and clearing of the enabled flag for other checks.
