In a future patch HAS_IOPORT=n will disable inb()/outb() and friends at
compile time. We thus need to add HAS_IOPORT as dependency for those
drivers using them. In the bochs driver there is optional MMIO support
detected at runtime, warn if this isn't taken when HAS_IOPORT is not
defined.
There is also a direct and hard coded use in cirrus.c which according to
the comment is only necessary during resume. Let's just skip this as
for example s390 which doesn't have I/O port support also doesen't
support suspend/resume.

Call drm_client_setup() to run the kernel's default client setup
for DRM. Set fbdev_probe in struct drm_driver, so that the client
setup can start the common fbdev client.
The qxl driver specifies a preferred color mode of 32. As this
is the default if no format has been given, leave it out entirely.

Add qxl_bo_pin_and_vmap() that pins and vmaps a buffer object in one
step. Update callers of the regular qxl_bo_vmap(). Fixes a bug where
qxl accesses an unpinned buffer object while it is being moved; such
as with the monitor-description BO. An typical error is shown below.

Commit b33651a5c98d ("drm/qxl: Do not pin buffer objects for vmap")
removed the implicit pin operation from qxl's vmap code. This is the
correct behavior for GEM and PRIME interfaces, but the pin is still
needed for qxl internal operation.
Also add a corresponding function qxl_bo_vunmap_and_unpin() and remove
the old qxl_bo_vmap() helpers.
Future directions: BOs should not be pinned or vmapped unnecessarily.
The pin-and-vmap operation should be removed from the driver and a
temporary mapping should be established with a vmap_local-like helper.
See the client helper drm_client_buffer_vmap_local() for semantics.

This reverts commit 07ed11afb68d94eadd4ffc082b97c2331307c5ea.
Stephen Rostedt reports:
"I went to run my tests on my VMs and the tests hung on boot up.
Unfortunately, the most I ever got out was:
[ 93.607888] Testing event system initcall: OK
[ 93.667730] Running tests on all trace events:
[ 93.669757] Testing all events: OK
[ 95.631064] ------------[ cut here ]------------
Timed out after 60 seconds"
and further debugging points to a possible circular locking dependency
between the console_owner locking and the worker pool locking.
Reverting the commit allows Steve's VM to boot to completion again.
[ This may obviously result in the "[TTM] Buffer eviction failed"
messages again, which was the reason for that original revert. But at
this point this seems preferable to a non-booting system... ]

This reverts commit 5a838e5d5825c85556011478abde708251cc0776.
Changes from commit 5a838e5d5825 ("drm/qxl: simplify qxl_fence_wait") would
result in a '[TTM] Buffer eviction failed' exception whenever it reached a
timeout.
Due to a dependency to DMA_FENCE_WARN this also restores some code deleted

Acquire the buffer object's reservation lock in drm_gem_pin() and
remove locking the drivers' GEM callbacks where necessary. Same for
unpin().
DRM drivers and memory managers modified by this patch will now have
correct dma-buf locking semantics: the caller is responsible for
holding the reservation lock when calling the pin or unpin callback.
DRM drivers and memory managers that are not modified will now be
protected against concurent invocation of their pin and unpin callbacks.
PRIME does not implement struct dma_buf_ops.pin, which requires
the caller to hold the reservation lock. It does implement struct
dma_buf_ops.attach, which requires to callee to acquire the
reservation lock. The PRIME code uses drm_gem_pin(), so locks
are now taken as specified. Same for unpin and detach.
The patch harmonizes GEM pin and unpin to have non-interruptible
reservation locking across all drivers, as is already the case for
vmap and vunmap. This affects gem-shmem, gem-vram, loongson, qxl and
radeon.

Acquire the reservation lock directly in GEM pin callback. Same for
unpin. Prepares for further changes.
Dma-buf locking semantics require callers to hold the buffer's
reservation lock when invoking the pin and unpin callbacks. Prepare
qxl accordingly by pushing locking out of the implementation. A
follow-up patch will fix locking for all GEM code at once.

Cursor planes on virtualized drivers have special meaning and require
that the clients handle them in specific ways, e.g. the cursor plane
should react to the mouse movement the way a mouse cursor would be
expected to and the client is required to set hotspot properties on it
in order for the mouse events to be routed correctly.
This breaks the contract as specified by the "universal planes". Fix it
by disabling the cursor planes on virtualized drivers while adding
a foundation on top of which it's possible to special case mouse cursor
planes for clients that want it.
Disabling the cursor planes makes some kms compositors which were broken,
e.g. Weston, fallback to software cursor which works fine or at least
better than currently while having no effect on others, e.g. gnome-shell
or kwin, which put virtualized drivers on a deny-list when running in
atomic context to make them fallback to legacy kms and avoid this issue.

Use pci_is_vga() to identify VGA devices instead of a private is_vga()
function.
This means qxl will use the VGA arbiter for old PCI_CLASS_NOT_DEFINED_VGA
(0x0001) devices as well as the PCI_CLASS_DISPLAY_VGA (0x0300) devices it
recognized previously.
This probably doesn't make a difference because qxl_pci_driver doesn't
claim PCI_CLASS_NOT_DEFINED_VGA devices by default, so it's mainly a code
simplification.

Based on grepping through the source code these drivers appear to be
missing a call to drm_atomic_helper_shutdown() at system shutdown
time. Among other things, this means that if a panel is in use that it
won't be cleanly powered off at system shutdown time.
The fact that we should call drm_atomic_helper_shutdown() in the case
of OS shutdown/restart comes straight out of the kernel doc "driver
instance overview" in drm_drv.c.
All of the drivers in this patch were fairly straightforward to fix
since they already had a call to drm_atomic_helper_shutdown() at
remove/unbind time but were just lacking one at system shutdown. The
only hitch is that some of these drivers use the component model to
register/unregister their DRM devices. The shutdown callback is part
of the original device. The typical solution here, based on how other
DRM drivers do this, is to keep track of whether the device is bound
based on drvdata. In most cases the drvdata is the drm_device, so we
can just make sure it is NULL when the device is not bound. In some
drivers, this required minor code changes. To make things simpler,
drm_atomic_helper_shutdown() has been modified to consider a NULL
drm_device as a noop in the patch ("drm/atomic-helper:
drm_atomic_helper_shutdown(NULL) should be a noop").

Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint
Instead of returning a weak reference to the qxl_bo object, return the
created drm_gem_object and let the caller decrement the reference count
when it no longer needs it. As a convenience, if the caller is not
interested in the gobj object, it can pass NULL to the parameter and the
reference counting is descremented internally.
The bug and the reproducer were originally found by the Zero Day Initiative project (ZDI-CAN-20940).

The ttm bo now initially has NULL bo->resource, and leaves the driver
the handle that. However it looks like we forgot to handle that for qxl.
It looks like this will just null-ptr-deref in qxl_bo_move(), if
bo->resource is NULL.
Fix this by calling move_null() if the new resource is TTM_PL_SYSTEM,
otherwise do the multi-hop sequence to ensure can safely call into
ttm_bo_move_memcpy(), since it might also need to clear the memory.
This should give the same behaviour as before.

The fb_base in struct drm_mode_config has been unused for a long time.
Some drivers set it and some don't leading to a very confusing state
where the variable can't be relied upon, because there's no indication
as to which driver sets it and which doesn't.
The only usage of fb_base is internal to two drivers so instead of trying
to force it into all the drivers to get it into a coherent state
completely remove it.

Since qxl_io_reset(qdev) will be called immediately
after qxl_ring_create() been called,
and parameter like notify_on_prod will be set to default value.

Details:
Currently, when trying to suspend and resume with qxl device,
there are some error messages after resuming,
eventually caused to black screen and can't be recovered.
The first error message:
[ 64.668577][ C3] [drm] driver is in bug mode
This error is due to guest qxl driver
will call qxl_reinit_memslots(qdev) during system resume,
but didn't call qxl_io_reset(qdev) before this,
Then will cause the QXL_IO_MEMSLOT_ADD operation to fail on QEMU,
qxl->guest_bug flag will be set,As a result,
the QXL device can't communicate with guest qxl driver through the IO port.
after fix the first error, can success to resume and login to desktop,
but shortly after that will observe the second error message :
[ 353.095343][ T863] qxl 0000:00:02.0: object_init failed for (262144, 0x00000001)
[ 353.096660][ T863] [drm:qxl_gem_object_create [qxl]] *ERROR* Failed to allocate GEM object (260852, 1, 4096, -12)

[ 368.197541][ T863] [drm:qxl_alloc_bo_reserved [qxl]] *ERROR* failed to allocate VRAM BO
The problem is caused by calling qxl_ring_init_hdr(qdev->release_ring)
in qxl_drm_resume() function.
When do QXL_IO_RESET,QEMU will call init_qxl_ram(),
so params like prod,cons,notify_on_cons and notify_on_prod
will be set to default value.
Ring push/pop actions for release_ring can be performed normally.
But call qxl_ring_init_hdr(qdev->release_ring)
will eventually set notify_on_prod to number of QXL_RELEASE_RING_SIZE,
affect the value of notify in qxl_push_free_res() function always be false,
QEMU will no longer send events of QXL_INTERRUPT_DISPLAY to the
guest qxl driver,so qxl_ring_pop() will never been called anymore,
and can't do dma_fence_signal(),result to ttm_bo_wait_ctx(bo, ctx)
always return EBUSY,fail to call qxl_bo_create().
Test scenario:
1) start virtual machine with qemu command "-device qxl-vga"
2) click suspend botton to enter suspend mode
3) resume and observe the error message in kernel logs, screen will be black
Let's fix this by reset io and remove the qxl_ring_init_hdr calling.

align the naming with other helpers. The plane helpers are for non-atomic
modesetting and exporting them will simplify a later conversion of drivers
